In spite of the exposed information scandals and research showing that human contribution to CO2 emissions is insignificant, climate-phobes are still pushing their agenda. Scientific American published an article by Gary Stix March 17, 2012 calling for an effective World Government solution to controlling human behavior of the seven billion people in the world.
Social engineering is the goal. “A policy article authored by several dozen scientists appeared online March 15 in Science to acknowledge this point… fundamental reorientation and restructuring of national and international institutions toward more effective Earth system governance and planetary stewardship [is needed].’”
Citing an old article from six years ago, Stix argues that, “Human societies must now change course and steer away from critical tipping points in the Earth system that might lead to rapid and irreversible change.”
Rethinking articles he approved for Scientific American, Stix says, that he would devote “at least half of the available space for feature articles on psychology, sociology, economics and political science…. I’ve come to the conclusion that the technical details are the easy part. It’s the social engineering that’s the killer. Moon shots and Manhattan Projects are child’s play compared to needed changes in the way we behave.”
“To be effective, a new set of institutions would have to be imbued with heavy-handed, transnational enforcement powers.”
“Behavioral economics and other forward-looking disciplines in the social sciences try to grapple with weighty questions. But they have never taken on a challenge of this scale, recruiting all seven billion of us to act in unison.” Read the rest of this entry »

The point of the first law of thermodynamics is that energy cannot create itself by any physical means we know of today. This law of science stands without exception and without reason to question its veracity. Thus, to propose that energy did indeed create itself contradicts the empirical conclusion of energy conservation. Adherence to such a conclusion exposes one’s bias for naturalism and subsequent loss of objectivity.
The counter argument is to say that energy always existed or as Stephen Hawkings said, “Now we come to God.” This is not to say that Hawkings believes in God, but the point he was making was that he does not know what or who brought about the existence of energy.
Because energy does exist, and the physical laws indicate that it could not create itself, then it is logical to conclude that it always existed. Atheism is not established, merely presumed by some. God has always existed.
Thus we must consider the second law of thermodynamics, which states that entropy (chaos, disorganization) in a closed system will increase. Observation of the universe shows that organized energy is decreasing and entropy is increasing. The increasing entropy means that there must have been a tremendous decrease of entropy in the past. To propose that such decrease occurred by natural laws and properties of energy contradicts Read the rest of this entry »

Britain is soul-searching after raging youth mobs, some among them not yet teens, left five people dead and property damage estimated at $325 million in five nights of anarchy.
In the rubble of the riots, the British are unearthing the lexicon of right and wrong.
Signs of renewed respect for the importance of marriage, family and religion emerged in a nation where 45 percent of children are born to single mothers and just 14 percent regularly attend church.
Leaders need to respect that the support structures of marriage, family and faith are critical to helping those at risk today and preventing the suffering resulting from social breakdown in future generations.
As Cameron urged, leaders also must say what needs to be said about standards of right and wrong, of conduct and courtesy.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter has advice for family members after flash mobs of 20 to 30 youths, some no older than 11, randomly attacked shoppers and restaurant-goers:
To young people: “[I]f you want to act like an idiot, move; move out of this city. . . . Take those doggone hoodies down. . . . Pull your pants up and buy a belt.”
To parents: “Parents, get your act together. . . . You need to get hold of your kids before we have to.”
To fathers: “A father has to provide a structure to a young boy on how to become a good man. . . . A father also has to be a good role model, and help a young girl be a strong woman.
“[M]aybe you’re sending a check or bringing some cash by,” Nutter added. “That’s not being a father. You’re just a human ATM. . . . And if you’re not providing the guidance, and you’re not sending any money, you’re just a sperm donor. “You can do better than that.”
The mayor is right. America can and must do better. Changing the culture demands that leaders say what needs to be said about right and wrong—and the importance of family and faith in teaching us those truths.

I have been involved in college ministry for over thirty years and have experienced the pressure of humanism’s attack. I have seen young people buckle under the weight of unanswered questions. I have seen young people abandon their “blind” faith for a “seeing” science. I have seen young people convert from irrational dogmatism to a reasoned world view. I have seen young people torn between choosing an impractical religion or a humanistic philosophy that offers relevant explanations. I have seen young people discard tradition for practicality, relevance, and reason.
God has burdened my heart to help youth understand the reasons for their faith, to show them the reasonableness of Biblical doctrine and values, to prepare them for the humanistic attack, and to expose Read the rest of this entry »

We are losing our youth to humanism, new age thought, and the subsequent moral relativism, sexual promiscuity, rebellion, and belief in evolution. Kids corrupt before their parents’ eyes. Church-attending young people are abandoning the teachings of their church, the Bible, and of Christ. For students attending college, they often leave home “Christian” and return anti-Christian.
Post-Christian America is hostage to secular humanism. Every avenue of media, education, and business is corrupted by an anti-biblical bias. We are bombarded by constant and relentless doses of humanistic indoctrination. Humanism is so pervasive and so common that, quite frankly, Read the rest of this entry »

Over the last decade, one of the most controversial discussions among Christians has been the inspiration of scripture. This is certainly no new discussion, but there is a new generation of believers, many of which have never studied and understood the importance of the Bible’s inspiration.
There are four main views regarding inspiration. The Roman Catholic view of inspiration states that the Bible’s ideas are inspired by God, but God did not give a finished product to each of the writers. The Neo-orthodox view claims that the Bible is the “Word of Read the rest of this entry »

Are you prepared for worldview warfare? Can you defend your faith and give convincing, persuasive answers to questions such as:
• How do you know if there is a God?
• How do you know that Jesus Christ is God or even a real person?
• How can a book like the Bible with contradictions and errors be reliable or inspired?
• Why are there so many translations of the Bible if God preserved His Word?
• How can the Bible account of creation be right if evolution is a fact?
• If God is so loving and all powerful, why is there so much human suffering? Read the rest of this entry »
