America’s Biggest Political Problem

Posted by LTIA on March 25, 2012

“National recovery depends on rolling back previous leftist victories. That means giving no more gains to the left through compromises, cutting government outlays on “entitlements” and “discretionary” spending, and cutting back both regulations and the legal authority for bureaucrats to impose more regulations. That’s the only way to save the economy, promote growth, and create more jobs.

“The pendulum of public policy must be swung back. If that is not achieved, our country is headed straight for something much worse than the similarly-caused financial crisis today in European countries. It would be worse because, unlike for Europe now, there is no source on Earth capable of bailing out a bankrupt United States.”

World Government needed to control Climate and Human behavior

Posted by LTIA on March 22, 2012

Call for effective world government to control human behavior.

In spite of the exposed information scandals and research showing that human contribution to CO2 emissions is insignificant, climate-phobes are still pushing their agenda. Scientific American published an article by Gary Stix March 17, 2012 calling for an effective World Government solution to controlling human behavior of the seven billion people in the world.
Social engineering is the goal. “A policy article authored by several dozen scientists appeared online March 15 in Science to acknowledge this point… fundamental reorientation and restructuring of national and international institutions toward more effective Earth system governance and planetary stewardship [is needed].’”
Citing an old article from six years ago, Stix argues that, “Human societies must now change course and steer away from critical tipping points in the Earth system that might lead to rapid and irreversible change.”
Rethinking articles he approved for Scientific American, Stix says, that he would devote “at least half of the available space for feature articles on psychology, sociology, economics and political science…. I’ve come to the conclusion that the technical details are the easy part. It’s the social engineering that’s the killer. Moon shots and Manhattan Projects are child’s play compared to needed changes in the way we behave.”
“To be effective, a new set of institutions would have to be imbued with heavy-handed, transnational enforcement powers.”
“Behavioral economics and other forward-looking disciplines in the social sciences try to grapple with weighty questions. But they have never taken on a challenge of this scale, recruiting all seven billion of us to act in unison.” Read the rest of this entry »

Komen stumbles in race against breast cancer

Posted by Patrick Briney, Ph.D. on February 5, 2012

Prollife and proabortion posters

Abortion linked to breast cancer risk is not safe.

The Komen Foundation, scandalized by its link to abortion advocate Planned Parenthood (PP), has severely compromised its race against breast cancer.

Knowledge of Komen’s funding of Planned Parenthood has alienated millions of prolife supporters who were unaware of the connection between the two organizations.

Not only has the Komen Foundation violated the trust of its contributors, but it has contradicted its mission to fight breast cancer. First, Komen should have focused on fighting breast cancer rather than irresponsibly wasting funds on political activist organizations like Planned Parenthood. Second, by funding the leading abortion provider (PP), Komen contradicts its mission because of the link between abortion and breast cancer (The Breast Cancer Prevention Institute).

The question now in the minds of millions is: If not Komen, who?

Home Depot ‘s homosexual activism

Home Depot sponsors kids' workshop at homosexual activist events

Last weekend, Home Depot set up a booth at the Atlanta Gay Pride festival and entered a float in the parade. (video here)
Alongside Home Depot’s float were marchers and other floats celebrating sadomasochism and bondage. One float depicted gay sex slaves being held in cages like animals.

“We presented to the shareholders and to the chairman and the board of directors over 470,000 signature petitions asking them to remain neutral in the culture war, specifically when it addresses gay marriage and homosexual activist groups,” Randy Sharp, AFA’s director of special projects told OneNewsNow.

“The worst offense is that Home Depot has set up kids’ workshops at these gay pride festivals,” explains AFA’s director of special projects. “These are events that have loud, boisterous homosexual activists making their voices heard — and Home Depot is putting money behind setting up kids’ booths at these kinds of events.” [http://www.onenewsnow.com/Business/Default.aspx?id=1059872]
Over one-half million people have signed the pledge to boycott Home Depot until it agrees to remain neutral in the culture war.

Land of the Free?

Posted by Joshua Pettijohn on July 3, 2011

On Labor Day, Federal Judge Lynn Hughes ruled May 26th that it was a first amendment right to include references to “God” and “Jesus” in military funerals, following the controversial Memorial Day service at the Houston National Cemetery. Even after issuing a temporary restraining order to protect this pastor from having his prayer censored the Veteran’s Administration’s director of the Houston National Cemetery, Arleen Ocasio has used her position to bully Christians Read the rest of this entry »

Fixing social injustice

Posted by LTIA on June 29, 2010

Social justice results in communities that we all want to live in… safe, nurturing, and free.

The need to do something is evidenced by the increasing unsafe, hostile, restrictive communities.

Associated with these communities are abuse of drugs, abuse of sexuality, and abuse of relationships. Increased police security is required to maintain safety and social stability.

Many have chosen self-destructive behavior Read the rest of this entry »

Systematic legislation plan

Posted by LTIA on June 25, 2010

The search for a comprehensive legislation strategy has been futile after a two day search. After visiting with Congressman Boozman (R, AR) this evening, it appears that there is a need for a comprehensive plan of legislation. Single issue groups draft legislation for particular issues.

Off the top of my head, a four step process must be considered…
1. Set the agenda such as Heritage Foundation’s ten issues or Gingrich’s contract with America.
2. Determine the systematic legislation plan needed to achieve the goals.
3. Seek existing legislation from special interest groups that fit the plan or arrange to have new legislation drafted.
4. Match legislation with Congressmen to seek sponsorship and completion of bill.

Why conservatives are losing America

Posted by LTIA on June 23, 2010

I have begun my search for a conservative organization that specializes in laying out a legislative agenda and path to lead America back to greater individual freedom and responsibility.
There is no lack of conservative watch dogs keeping us informed and alarmed about what the liberals are doing. There is no lack of conservative organizations recommending liberal legislation to oppose.
The lack of conservative organizations writing legislation for the purpose of fulfilling a systematic agenda to achieve conservative goals explains why conservatives is losing America.
